I’m drooling. I love tres leches and it’s cool to see this version without baking powder. I want to have a slice right now!

By the way, the extent of Mexican tres leches’ reach is also amazing. I’ve seen a similar cake at a Yemeni coffee house— I think they just called it a milk cake and it included flavors like pistachio and rosewater. I think it’s so neat how other cultures adopt recipes from across the world. :)
