I created the Mexican Food Journal to share my love for Mexican Food which has developed over the 20+ years I have lived in Mexico. I have been fortunate enough to live in San Miguel de Allende, Puerto Vallarta, Monterrey and Durango where I have experienced some of the regional differences in Mexican Cuisine.

Andrés is a professional photographer from Cuernavaca, Mexico who also has a great love for Mexican cuisine.In addition to providing incredible food photos for the site he generously shares family recipes handed down from his mother and grandmother. He has professional hands on cooking experience from the Mexican cafe he used to own in San Francisco, Ca.
